A staple of the Bay State, DeRidder is set in central Louisiana just southwest of the Kisatchie National Forest. The southern city was incorporated in 1903, and is the parish seat of Beauregard Parish.
Historic must-sees include the Beauregard Parish Museum which houses the Lois Loftin Doll Museum – 48 years of antique collections featuring over 3,000 dolls on display – as well as the Beauregard Parish Courthouse.
