Found in Richland Parish, Poverty Point Reservoir State Park is located on the Mississippi Flyway in northern Louisiana. Set near Delhi, the park encompasses 2,700 acres, and was established in 2005 by the Louisiana Office of State Parks.
Poverty Point Reservoir State Park offers fishing for largemouth bass, black crappie, blue gill, and channel catfish – along with boat launches and cleaning stations. Other activities include swimming, water sports, and the .5-mile nature trail along Bayou Macon.
