Lake Bruin State Park

Set in Tensas Parish, Lake Bruin State Park is found in northern Louisiana along the Mississippi near Winnsboro.

Covering 53 acres, part of which includes the 3,000-acre Lake Bruin, the park was established in 1956, and is operated by the Louisiana Office of State Parks.

Lake Bruin State Park features great fishing thanks to three fishing piers and year-round boat launching. Reel in large mouth bass, crappie, white perch, and bluegill depending on the season.

Other activities include swimming, picnicking, and wildlife viewing.
