Established in 1938, the park covers 7,450 acres and offers plenty of outdoor recreation – specifically boating and fishing on Lake Bistineau and nearby Red River.
Lake Bistineau State Park also features excellent hiking and biking trails, plus playgrounds, pools, and picnic spots.
Take advantage of the 11-mile canoe trail, the baseball field, and fishing for black crappie, largemouth bass, yellow bass, catfish, bluegill, and more.
